Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan is the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) since March 2011, which is promoted by the central bank of Nepal (Nepal Rastra Bank) and almost all the banks & financial institutions, with the objectives to establish and operate multiple national payment and settlement systems in Nepal. Mr. Pradhan has played an instrumental role in establishing the clearing house in Nepal and is considered as one of the most valuation companies in the sector. Some of the major payment infrastructures implemented under his leadership include electronic cheque clearing (NCHL-ECC), interbank payment system (NCHL-IPS) and Retail Payment switch (RPS as part of National Payment Switch), connectIPS system (faster payment platform), National Payments Interface (NPI), Real-Time Gross Settlement System integration (connectRTGS), business payment channel (CORPORATEPAY), NEPALPAY QR and cross border interface (NPIx). NCHL is currently at the final stage to roll out National Card Switch and NEPALPAY as card scheme. In over 24 years of his career, he has gained domestic and international experiences at Bahrain, India, Netherlands and Nepal in the areas of business strategy, planning and execution of banking & financial technology projects. Mr. Pradhan was the rank holder in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Kathmandu University (KU), Nepal and in Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India and is also a certified project management professional (PMP).
